Emerita

Emerita is a scientific journal published by CSIC and edited by the Instituto de Lenguas y Culturas del Mediterráneo y Oriente Próximo at CCHS, that publishes original articles and notes, news and book reviews concerning Classical Philology, Greek, Latin, Indoeuropean and Iberian Linguistics and Ancient History.

Founded in 1933 by D. Ramón Menéndez Pidal, it has a printed edition and began to be available online in 2007 in PDF files. Contents of previous issues are also available in that format.

It also publishes a collection of monographs on the same subjects under the title Manuales y Anejos de Emérita that is published in printed and electronic format.

Emerita is indexed in Web of Science: Arts & Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI), SCOPUS, CWTS Leiden Ranking (Journal indicators), ERIH Plus, REDIB, DOAJ and other national and international databases. It is indexed in Latindex Catalogue 2.0 and has obtained the FECYT Seal of Quality.
